So I’m a little bit late in uploading this year but today I’m sharing my 2016 long term planning that I will be using for childminding in the hope it may be of use to some of you.
I make no secret of keeping paperwork for childminding to a minimum to allow me to spend my time with the children I care for and not getting bogged down with endless (and often pointless) paperwork. So although there is a lot of dates, celebrations and festivals etc on this calendar we by no means observe all of them.
I also note down children’s birthdays and important dates to them like starting school or family celebrations and use this, along with the events on the calendar to the form the basis of my planning for the following month.
Last year I created this blog post with more detail about long term planning and childminding and I will still be using this method to plan in 2016.
